My family and I retreated to the north Georgia mountains this past weekend along with our extended family to celebrate and remember the life of Jean Tutor.  We stayed in accommodations at the Dillard House just north of Clayton, Georgia.  The Dillard House is a southern landmark world famous for its family style meals long on both quality and quantity.

Around the corner from the restaurant on the way back to the Chalet Village you pass a lovely little church with one of the most unusual names you will encounter: Head of Tennessee Baptist Church.

This weekend, the church sign at HOTBC (I love that acrostic!) had this to say: “Spring is God’s greeting card to you!”

Looking around at the mountains coming to life with blooms and blossoms, the wonderful, amazing truth of that statement was obvious.
